WELCOME TO THE FRIARS SECTION

Our senior men’s section at Redbourn Golf Club is called the Friars and anyone aged 55 and over can join this section and enjoy social and/or competitive golf. Handicaps range from 6 to 28 so all levels are catered for.

The Friars were formed on 24 February 1984 and have over 50 members. They meet every Tuesday morning from 08.04am and regularly meet up on Thursdays. The Friars frequently hold inter club matches both home and away against other local golf clubs and in addition to this there is a full programme of 12 medal/stableford qualifying competitions as well as 15 assorted competitions some of which are also qualifiers for handicap.
